Titles (besides fame) were the worst thing that ever happened to PvP in GW (besides elite skill buff updates) they could have worked if skill balance was better and more frequent but shitters farming titles with gimmicks drove a lot of people away from the game.

the only time i remember you doing TA was during PnH-on-steroids+3 physicals days, and even that once only.
mixing 2 different objectives into one (kill the other team or cap more shrines/cap shrine more often than the other team) might work in gvg, but in a 4v4 environment it just promotes build wars even more.
And shrine capping is SO boring in any case.

Well if you don't remember me doing TA then that must mean I didn't do it right?
I think cap points will work ok in Codex Arenas actually as defensive templates are usually a lot weaker than offensive ones so you won't get HB builds with 3 healers and a sin and a lot of teleports.
Even in TA where such skills were available I still didn't run into that many of them as they wouldn't stand a chance on normal TA maps.
Yes you can get buildwarsed but a team speccing for TA maps OR HB maps will have a very hard time to get any streaks at all going.

Most of those people were griefing because they wanted everyone else to hate it too so A-net would think the trial run failed (trying to prove their own point even while losing a lot). If you don't cave, people won't play against their own self-interest for very long.
I'd prefer to see costume brawl maps in, possibly without morale like someone mentioned. Those setups seem a lot more geared toward getting the buff shrines based on your strategy and fighting when you have an advantage. The HB setup seemed to be more about keeping a number of spread out shrines for morale. CB shrine capping may work better with 5 player teams instead of 4 though. And again, CB might work mostly because bars have a lack of solid defense and a multitude of snares.
